2. Information We Collect

Contact form: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name and message content. We do not collect email addresses through the contact form — replies go to you via our email system.

Analytics: We use self-hosted Umami Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data. It records general page views and traffic patterns only. No personal identifiers are transmitted or stored.

Server logs: Our web server automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These logs are used solely for security and operational purposes and are retained for a limited period.

3. How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and communications
  • To operate and improve our website
  • To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
  • To fulfill legal obligations if required

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — operating and securing our website, responding to inquiries, preventing abuse
  • Consent — any optional communications you opt into; you may withdraw consent at any time
  • Legal obligation — disclosures required by law enforcement or applicable regulation

5. Third-Party Services

Analytics: Self-hosted Umami — no data leaves our infrastructure, no cookies, no personal identifiers. Fully GDPR-compliant by design.

Payment processing: If you engage our services, payment processing may be handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe, Paddle, or BTCPay). Their privacy policies govern data collected during payment transactions. We do not store full payment card data.

Google Fonts: Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect limited technical data (IP address, browser headers) when serving font files. See Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Cookies

Our primary analytics system (Umami) is cookieless. Our website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

If you submit our contact form, a session cookie is set for security purposes (CSRF protection). This cookie is temporary and expires when you close your browser.

7. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry. Server access logs are retained for a limited operational period. We do not maintain long-term databases of personal information from website visitors.

8. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access our website from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Non-essential processing only occurs with your consent; other processing is carried out as necessary to operate our website and respond to your inquiries.

9. Your Rights

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements
  • Restrict or object to processing, including for legitimate-interest-based processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

Residents of California (CCPA) have the right to know what data is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
